Gratitude Book❤️ 2017

My Gratitude Book❤ I bring this with me in my bag every day when I go to work. I only have been really consistent for the first 3-4 weeks in May 2017 as initially I always tend to forget to write. From my observation, in the first 3 weeks, it took me some time to sit and think what was I grateful for and at most I could write 1-2 things a day. They say it takes 21 days to develop a good habit or to break a bad habit. After the 3rd week, it’s now a daily habit. I now realize each time I open the book to write,I don’t even have to think, it automatically comes and I can write more than even 5 things that I’m grateful for a day. If I have 5 or more things to write about, I put a pink star at the top beside the date. Even the slightest thing like, my staff giving me two slices of pizza, you guys thanking me in messages for my posts, my husband saying ‘I love you’, my patient calling me up to say thank you, and not only things which I receive, but whatever and in however way I’m able to give to others, I am also grateful for. Grateful I am able to enrich someone else’s life. I realized the importance of writing down, as that is visualization. You write, you see, you remember. The more you practice writing and seeing things you are grateful for, the more you will be incorporating those in your thoughts. You will end up seeing those in your daily life and in others automatically. I realized how much happier I became coz that was what filled my mind constantly. And I kept looking for more things to be grateful for each day. Whenever you are down, open this book. That is the best jumpstart you can give your engine! Coz all those good stuff you read are going to overshadow that one bad stuff that happened that day. It’s been almost 9 months now that I’ve written daily entries into my book. Practice makes perfect❤ A Gratitude a day keeps your problems at bay!:)

P/S: I love that it’s stated ‘LOVABLE’ on the front cover(swipe left) to remind me to love myself. Also just realized the fine print below that states: “Every new day is another chance to change your life.” 🌈🌈🌟

Lots of love,
